Prado Sonolento

You will be assured of a warm welcome when you arrive for your stay at Prado Sonolento. The peaceful location lies between the Knights Templar World heritage city of Tomar and the spectacular Lake Zezere near the town of Ferreira do Zezere.

The B&B accommodation available comprises one double room with en-suite facilities and one twin room with private shower room.

Alternatively the apartment is available for self catering groups of up to six people.

The accommodation is in its own grounds with secure parking behind electric gates. There is a large swimming pool for guests to enjoy and ample terraces to sunbathe on the sun beds provided. You may wish to relax with that morning beverage under the welcome shading of our gazebo’s. There is an opportunity to use our BBQ’s either gas or traditional in our outside kitchen and wind down in the evening with a glass of local wine by the pool.

This part of central Portugal still has plenty of Portuguese character and is ideal for a peaceful break with plenty of sightseeing. Alternatively it is an ideal base to explore the housing market for holiday homes or something more permanent. Prices in this area are still very affordable. You can get much more house and land for much less than you would pay in the UK.
